Fruit Loops on the floor

Wow it's been pretty busy around here lately. We've had some really crazy weather. When I went to pick up Triston on one of his last days of kindergarten, the school got put on lock-down because of tornado warnings. We had a tornado touch down 3 miles south of us. Then the next night we had a really amazing lightening storm. Ian and I sat out in our backyard and watched it until Triston called us in because he was scared.

Ian has been home for the past week on leave and we actually haven't drove each other crazy yet. We spent two days spring cleaning and I was surprised to find fruit loops on my floor in some very odd places. I think Keegan hides them in his cheeks and then takes them out to put in a hiding place for later. I also think he forgets about this which would explain the fruit loops in odd places. Some of his favorite places are under couches, under his dresser, inside a toy, and (my favorite) in a shoe. I'm amazed we don't have ants.

Today we are going to The Smithsonian for the first time. I'm excited to go but the Museum of American History (the one I really wanted to see) is closed until fall. We are going to the Natural History Museum and the Air and Space Museum. I hope the kids like it. I will let you know how it goes....

I laughed about the fruit loops. Olivia keeps cherrios in her left hand for later. She hasn't dropped them yet, but sometimes she seems surprised to find them there. I'm jealous that you're going to the Smithsonian. I definitely want to see pictures!

Kegerator hides fruit loops in his cheeks? Must have got that from his Aunt Cheyenne. Ask her about the bacon :) LOL
