The Professor

Well I took Triston to the eye Doctor and he had to get some glasses. We went to Wal-mart and he picked out a pair of glasses that look like Harry Potter glasses (of course they were the most expensive ones). The glasses are flex frames so he can bend them and it won't hurt them. He is very excited because he gets to be in the same cool club that his daddy is in. Here are a couple of pictures of him in his really cool glasses.

By the way the title of this post comes from a nickname that Triston's gym teacher called him last year, he was always the professor. She retired and Triston sure misses her.

All Done

Okay so I can finally get a good night's sleep because I will no longer have to be up all night reading. I finally finished the Twilight Saga and I have to say I really like how it ended. I have even talked my husband into going to the movie with me. I'm sure he is glad that I am done with the books because that has been all I have talked about for the last week. Now he knows what it feels like when all he does is talk about D&D. So now I am at a loss as to what to read, I will probably reread the Saga slower so that I can pick up on any little things I may have missed the first time through. I am planning on reading Midnight Sun tomorrow at work. If anyone is wondering where to get it, it is at www.stepheniemeyer.com I have to work tomorrow and that will give me something to do. Well that's all for now, I'm off to bed.

My Hero

Okay so the Marine Corps Birthday is on Monday and we had the ball on Thursday. I didn't go but Ian did, he was part of the Iwo Jima statue that they had for the ceremony...I told some people to take pictures of it but I don't know if I will get any...if I do I will post them. I did however get some of Ian in his dress blues...he is so handsome. I love they way he looks in his uniform it makes me so proud of him!!!!

New Moon

Okay so I'm on to New Moon and so far I'm pretty sad, I had to read with a box of Kleenex last night... I am cleaning house right now but I can't wait to be done so I can go back to reading!

Okay so I got the book this afternoon and I am already on chapter 4 after like an hour of reading. At this rate I will be done by tomorrow night, as long as we aren't busy at work. So far I really like it.

3 posts in 1 day, boy am I bored

Okay I am pretty excited, because I ordered the book Twilight last night. I have heard wonderful reviews about it and had been looking for it in hardcover (because I prefer my books that way) but could never find it. Well I went to the authors website and to amazon from there. I got the book for tons cheaper than I had seen in paper back anywhere else. It's suppose to arrive on the 7th but I generally get things just a couple days after I order them. I will let you all know what I think once I read the book.

HALLOWEEN

So Halloween came around this year and we went trick-or-treating with my boss, his wife and there son. The kids had a blast, they were Superman (Keegan) and Capt. Jack Sparrow (Triston). Keegan's costume consisted of pajama's and a cape. Triston's costume was the real deal that came from the Disney Store, but we got it in February when it was on clearance so it only cost $12 total...what a steal!!! I put the mustache and goatee on Triston with eye-liner and when my nephew saw a picture of Triston dressed up he said "Mom he really has a mustache!"

Keegan was so funny this year. He was scared of all the decorations that people had up. There was one house that had the hand in the bowl thing that when you go to get the candy out the hand moves, well Keegan went up to this stuck his hand in to get the candy and then when it moved took off running. I don't think I've seen him run so fast. He never cried at anything he just ran away. We also painted pumpkins this year and I think I have a couple of artists in my house. I hope everyone had as much fun on Halloween as we did.

It's My Party And I'll Cry If I Want To!

Keegan's birthday party was pretty fun. He had a very cool cake that my boss designed for him. He got some pretty awesome presents, and in typical Keegan fashion, he threw a fit. We did his party at the park again this year which I happen to think is a great idea...it's free and the kids get to run off there energy. Since he is such a BIG fan of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and of balloons, we got him some very cool Mickey Mouse Balloons (I think that was his favorite thing). It was a little windy though so we had to tie the balloons down and then half way threw the party we just ended up taking them inside. All in all it was a great day, but I'm glad it's over. Now we have to get ready for Triston's party and then Christmas...fun, fun. (Sorry about the pictures and the writing being off a little, for some reason blogger won't let me put them where I want them)
